Dear Friend,

Rev. Bryan Crotts

We invite you to join us in-person this Sunday, October 1, 2023, for our Lord’s Day Morning Worship Service at 11:00 AM in our Sanctuary. Prior to our morning worship join us for coffee & tea at 9:30, followed by Christian Education at 9:45 AM.

Our morning sermon from God’s Word will be preached from Galatians 2:15-16, “Thesis Statement,” by Rev. Bryan Crotts. Our evening sermon will be from Nehemiah 7, “Urban Planning,” and our service will include congregational prayer. Rev. Bryan Crotts will be preaching.

Christian Education:  Join us in the Fellowship Hall before the Sunday School hour for warm drinks–coffee & tea. Classes beginning at 9:45 AM and include the following options:

Our Adult Elective Sunday School Class, facilitated by our Elders, is studying Dr. Sinclair Ferguson’s series: Union with Christ.  Each class watches a brief video and has a follow-up discussion.

Our pastor teaches a class for Young Adults & Young Couples in the Westminster Classroom (conveniently located next to nursery and children’s classrooms). We are studying our Westminster Shorter Catechism and related issues that arise for life, faith, culture, and service.

I can assure you that if you visit our campus and enter our doors, you will be greeted and folks will remember your name. We are a small church with a personal ministry to each of our members. If you are looking for a place to belong and be known, please visit with us. Though you will find a traditional and formal style of worship that we hope is both reverent and full of joy, we welcome you to come and require no specific dress code. In our fellowship you will find suits and shorts, dresses and pants. All that we ask is that you come sincerely desiring to meet with our Lord.

Our church is a welcoming family of believers who hold to the historic Christian faith and we offer this ancient greeting:

To all who are spiritually weary and seek rest,
To all who mourn and long for comfort,
To all who struggle and desire hope,
To all who sin and need a Savior,
To all who are strangers and want fellowship,
To all who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
and to whoever will come…

First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church opens wide her doors and offers you welcome in the name of the risen and reigning Lord Jesus Christ.

God has placed in each of us a desire to know, love, and worship Him. Our desire is to be a place where you can find salvation in Jesus Christ, an opportunity to worship the Lord with reverence and joy, engage in opportunities to learn about the Christian faith in the Scriptures, and be a part of a community of believers who desire to serve one another and the world.

Our church is made up of people from all walks of life. If you ask them what they enjoy about our church, you will find answers such as, “I’m in by 92nd year and each week I cannot wait to get to church to hear from God!” Or, “The biblical and Reformed faith has changed my life and I am grateful.” Others say, “My church is an essential part of my life now and for the generations to come after me, as a beacon to guide us through life and get us safely into heaven.” You will find here a group of people committed to the Scriptures, worship, one another, and to faithful living before the watching world. We are striving to know Christ and to make Him known.

Will you find a perfect church here? Certainly not! But you will find a group of folks who know they are sinners in need of a Savior. And they cling to Christ alone, whom they have received in the Gospel for their salvation – and they want others to find the same peace.

We would love to meet you, welcome you into our fellowship and serve any spiritual needs that you have.

Your friend in Christ,

Pastor Bryan P. Crotts
